Fatal Officer Involved Shooting At Elizabethtown Police Station: Lanco DA

An unidentified man was shot dead by an officer at a police station in Elizabethtown early Sunday morning, Nov. 3, Lancaster County District Attorney Heather Adams announced later in the day.

The man showed up at the Northwest Regional Police Department on Elizabethtown Road in Elizabethtown at 1:43 a.m. Lancaster County Wide Communications told the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office. He was armed with a handgun.

We know an officer shot him, but the details were not immediately available.

"This investigation is in its initial stages and additional information will be released as appropriate," as stated in the DA's release. "District Attorney Heather Adams will make a determination on the justification of the shooting when the investigation is complete."
